Quick Easy Kids Snacks – French Toast Sticks

Do you find yourself run short of healthy snack ideas for kids and don't want to spend the entire grocery budget on kids pre-packaged snacks? Well, why not serve kids French toast sticks?


These children snacks are really inexpensive to make, highly nutritious and super yummy without all of the calories. And, if the kids are old enough to cook on their own, you can even get them to prepare this snack themselves!


French Toast Sticks Recipe

The ingredients you need to make French toast sticks are:

1 tablespoon butter

2 eggs

½ cup banana milk

4 slices wholegrain bead, cut into strips



How to make french toast sticks

Position the oven rack in the center; preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).


Grease a baking tray with cooking spray; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine butter, eggs and milk. Beat with a whisk until the mixture is bubbly on top.

Dip both sides of each bread sticks into the egg mixture and then arrange bread sticks on baking sheet.


Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden.


Serve French toast sticks on its own. Kids also love them with peanut butter, maple syrup or any fruit-flavored syrup.
