aromatic coffee-perfumed steamed bread is heavenly; it doesn't need butter or any
other accompaniments. It has a slight sweetish taste that makes it an excellent breakfast
bread or a healthy afternoon perk-me-up.
Honey Almond Coffee Steam Bread Recipe
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup whole wheat flour
1 cup finely ground roasted almonds
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoons baking soda
½ cup honey
½ cup sour cream
⅔ cup cooled strong coffee
How to steam bread
Place all flour, almonds, baking powder and baking soda in a large mixing bowl; mix
