I've a heavenly dessert recipe that's quick and easy, super delicious with an exotic
twist. Mango is such a delightful fruit to get hold of and since it doesn't really
need any fancy dressing up, why not make mango crumble for dessert?
Mango Crumble Recipe
3 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
8 tablespoons quick cooking oats
8 tablespoons plain flour
⅔ cup brown sugar
⅔ cup butter
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg
How to make mango crumble
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 9-inch round oven proof pie dish or 6 ramekins.
Combine mango cubes lemon juice and honey in a large bowl; mix well and then transfer
to the greased pie dish.
Place the rest of the ingredients in a bowl; rub in butter until you get the consistency
of coarse breadcrumbs.
Spread the mixture over the mango evenly and bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes
or until the top is lightly browned.
Enjoy your homemade mango crumble on its own or with creme fraiche.
