of ginger may induce miscarriage.
Very often, morning sickness may occur simply because of an empty stomach. Keep
a few snacks such as crackers on your night table and eat them as soon as you wake
up. By doing so, it helps to alleviate your morning sickness symptoms.
Additionally, have small frequent meals instead of three large meals a day. Salty
foods are particularly helpful for morning sickness but make sure to choose those
low in fat and easy to digest.
Peppermint is also a very effective cure for morning sickness. Try drinking a cup
of peppermint tea to settle your stomach or eat a peppermint lifesaver. You can also
get relief by inhaling peppermint. Keep in mind that essential oils are very strong
so you want to go easy. One great idea is to place a drop or two on a handkerchief
and take it along with you in your purse.
Lemon is one of the best home remedies for morning sickness. When you feel the symptoms
of morning sickness, just sniff the lemon juice or lemon peel for fast relief.
Evidence has shown that increasing your intake of Vitamin B6 helps cure morning sickness.
Again, check with your doctor before taking extra Vitamin B6 along with your prenatal
vitamin since too much can cause numbness and nerve damage. Your doctor will advise
you on how much Vitamin B6 is safe for morning sickness relief.
