Sagging neck skin and a double chin is a sure sign of aging. Most of us focus on
the face and neglect the neck in our skin care regimen. The skin on your neck is
very delicate and the muscles that support the neck area are weaker. Hence, it is
more vulnerable to aging and sagging.
Loose and saggy skin on the neck and under the chin may appear after weight loss,
or simply due to genes.
There are 2 main ways to tone and firm sagging neck skin – surgical and non-invasive

Facial Exercise for Double Chin
Facial or neck exercises can help to firm and tighten the skin on the neck and throat
while preventing fine lines and wrinkles. Practice these sagging neck skin exercises
twice a day, morning and night, for best results.
Sagging Neck Skin Firming Exercise 1:
You can perform this exercise, sitting or standing. Tilt your head towards the ceiling
while keeping your lips together but not clamped shut.
Start a chewing movement. You should feel your neck muscles tighten in order for
this exercise to work properly. Repeat the chewing movement 20 times to help you
get rid of a double chin.
Loose Neck Skin Firming Exercise 2:
Sit upright on a chair and tilt your head so that you are looking up at the ceiling.
Keep your lips together but relaxed.
Now, bring your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep for a count
of 5. Bring your head back to normal position and repeat the exercise 10 times.
Sagging Neck Skin Firming Exercise 3:
Sit or stand upright and gently turn your head to the left while keeping your chin
steady. Turn your head until you feel your muscles stretching.
Remain in this position for 5 counts and then gently move your head to the right,
and hold for a count of 5. Repeat 3 times. This firming neck exercise is extremely
effective for eliminating double chin.
Aside from performing these neck exercises diligently, you should also wear a sunscreen
with an SPF of at least 15 every day and eat a healthy diet. Getting enough sleep
and stop smoking are equally important.
